DESCRIPTION
•    Provides stable arc with crack free welds; having good slag                   detachability.
•    High resistance to impact and easy to machine.

ALLOY BASIS : Fe, Cr, Mn, C

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
Parts subject to heavy impact and low to moderate wear i.e. striking tools, dies, hammers, sliding surfaces, rails, wheel rims, conveyor screws, mixer blades, crane wheels etc.

APPLICATION TECHNIQUE
•    Clean the surface thoroughly.
•    Use short arc with DC reverse polarity.
•    Use buffer layer of GEMET 103 on high carbon steels.

HARDNESS : 35 HRC approx

WELDING CURRENT : AC / DC (-)
