DESCRIPTION
- Specially developed electrode, produces a gas jet that blows away melted material.
- No oxy-acetylene or compressed air is required.
TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
- Chamfering and gouging of steels, stainless steels, cast iron and non-ferrous metals.
- For removing weld defects or risers in castings.
- Beveling cracks in heavy members and back gouging of root run especially when welding at site of steel structures, storage tanks etc.
APPLICATION TECHNIQUE
- Keep the electrode angle at about 35 to the surface.
- Push arc deep and forward it to scoop the molten metal and slag away.
- Repeat the same technique for deeper grooves.
